The I.U.P.A. is proud to assist our members and their families in pursuing their academic goals through our scholarships. This year, three impressive young students were selected to be I.U.P.A. Scholars, including Ms. Haley Stewart of Denham Springs, Louisiana; Ms. Abigail Miller of Lisbon, Wisconsin; and Mr. Daniel Padron of Lake Worth, Florida.

Ms. Stewart recently wrote to the I.U.P.A.

I am so honored and excited to have been chosen for the I.U.P.A. scholarship. The extra funds have helped with books, a meal plan, and transportation costs. It has been a great help in my college career as a freshman.
I recommend that every eager student that has a passion for union issues and the law to apply for this award.
Once again, thanks to everyone involved in the decision on the applications. It has been meaningful so far and I look forward to a great experience at LSU.

Haley is using her scholarship in her pursuit of a degree at Louisiana State University and plans to become an attorney. The I.U.P.A. is extremely proud of her and of all of our I.U.P.A. Scholars. Information about our scholarships and other benefits are available on the I.U.P.A. benefits page here.

Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
