Broward Sheriff’s Office K9 handler Deputy Kelli Covet visited schools on the first day back after Hurricane Ian with therapy dog K9 Anthem to help the kids and staff ease back into their normal routines. The department posted on social media, “K9 Anthem with handler Deputy Kelli Covet from Broward Sheriff’s Office Therapy Program took time to visit with Allen Park Elementary School during reunification day and North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts staff to put smiles on faces.“
