LEOs from across the country got together with members of their communities to celebrate Halloween!
Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 shared on social media about I.U.P.A. Local Coalition of Police, #911 Members, “Today, Constable Mark Herman’s Office attended the Halloween event in the Hunters Glen Community. Thank you for having us!” They also posted, “Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office are visiting the Early Excellence Academy for Trunk or Treat. Thank you for having us!!”
Shreveport Police Department posted about I.U.P.A. Local Shreveport Police Union, #275 Members with local kids in videos you can watch here and here. I.U.P.A. Local Shreveport Police Union, #275 President Chris Bordelon posted a video on Facebook with tips for kids and parents to stay safe on Halloween. You can view it here.
I.U.P.A. Local Virginia Beach P.B.A., #34 posted about the Trunk or Treat they had at the Virginia Beach Police Mounted Patrol, “This is one of the most popular VBPD events of the year. This year did not disappoint!”
Vero Beach Police Department posted about I.U.P.A. Local Vero Beach Police Officers Association, #6019 Members, “Thank you to Dr. Zoey Orthodontics for inviting the Vero Beach Police Department to your Trunk or Treat event this evening! It was a fantastic night filled with smiles, laughter, and community spirit.”
They also posted, “Thank you to Vero’s BEST Summer Camp and After School Program for inviting the Vero Beach Police Department to participate in your Trunk or Treat event! We had an amazing time engaging with the community and sharing some spooky fun with all the awesome kids.”
Bel Air Police Department posted about I.U.P.A. Local Bel Air Police Association, #229 Members, “It’s that spooky time of year again. We saw adorable costumes of every kind. We are always very impressed by the creative exhibits on display along Main Street. But, maybe some of the ghouls, goblins, witches, Mike Myers, superheroes, zombie’s, weren’t really costumes —- ?!?… Great job everyone! We look forward to seeing you next year.”
Memphis Police Department posted about I.U.P.A. Local Memphis Police Association, #318 Members, “We had a great time at the Tillman Station Trunk or Treat. Thanks to all who came out for a little Halloween fun.” They also posted, “This week, the Harbor Town Fall Festival brought the community together, and North Main Station Officer Turner was there to help out.”
Toledo Police Department shared a video of I.U.P.A. Local Toledo Police Patrolman’s Assn., #10 Members repelling down the walls of the local hospital to cheer up sick kids. Watch the video here.
Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake shared a video about the Halloween Spooktacular where I.U.P.A. Local Salt Lake Valley Law Enforcement Assn., #77 Members interacted with local kids and their families, “Thanks to everyone from our staff at the Halloween Spooktacular! We had a ghoul-d time thanks to the fang-tastic City of Holladay for allowing us to host. Wishing you all and frightfully fun and safe Halloween may it be filled with tricks, treats and skele-tons of fun!”
Lawton Police Department posted a funny video warning to watch crosswalks for trick or treaters that you can watch here, “It’s almost Halloween! That means you’ll see a lot more little ghosts and goblins out and about. Remember to slow down and use caution near crosswalks. You never know who might show up!”
