  1. Install antivirus\/malware protection and keep it updated.<\/li>\n
  2. Use two-factor authentication on everything you can.<\/li>\n
  3. Use different emails for different accounts.<\/li>\n
  4. Explore the software you have installed on both your computer and smartphone. Remove anything you do not use or no longer need.<\/li>\n
  5. Use passcodes even when they are optional on smartphones.<\/li>\n
  6. Use unique passwords for every login by using a password vault.<\/li>\n
  7. Use a VPN service.<\/li>\n
  8. Do not fall for email phishing schemes.<\/li>\n
  9. Turn off the saved password feature in your browser and clear your browser cache on exit.<\/li>\n
  10. Review your social media privacy settings to ensure you have most things disabled from sharing\/view.<\/li>\n
  11. Find old accounts and delete them.<\/li>\n
  12. Do not use credit cards. Instead, pay with your smartphones.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
