Coalition of Police, I.U.P.A. Local #911 Members regularly interact with the nearby Girl Scouts troops; buying their cookies, taking them on tours of the station, and showing their support!
Harris County Constable Precinct 4 posted about it on social media on multiple occassions:
- Constable Mark Herman’s Office was proud to welcome Girl Scout Troop 111032 to the Cypresswood Station for a fun and educational tour of the facility. The scouts were greeted by Sergeant Umanzor, Corporal Cantu and Deputy Kulhanek, who guided them through various areas of the station. The girls had the opportunity to meet members of the dispatch team, explore the holding cells, and receive a hands-on demonstration of patrol vehicles, complete with flashing lights and sirens. As part of the visit, each scout received a Precinct 4 coloring book filled with safety tips and a Junior Deputy badge to take home. To mark the occasion, the troop also presented a special completion badge to each girl and graciously donated boxes of Girl Scout cookies to our deputies. We thank Troop 111032 for spending time with us and look forward to future visits that continue to build strong bonds between law enforcement and the youth of our community.
- While on patrol, Deputy Scott stopped to help a local girl scout troop by buying a few boxes. We love our kiddos!!
- Today, Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office stopped to support the Girl Scouts Troop 111122 by buying a few boxes.
- Yesterday, Girl Scouts from Troop 115194 Memorial Northwest, visited Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office. Deputies gave them a tour of the Cypresswood Office and patrol vehicles. The troops also donated stuffed animals to deputies to provide to children while on stressful calls.
Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
Submit your photos today to be considered for the photo of the week next week to alinaj@iupa.org.
