Port St. Lucie Police Officers Association, I.U.P.A. Local #6015 Members trained with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection as well as the United States Coast Guard on a variety of maritime scenarios!

Port Saint Lucie Police Department shared about it on social media, “PSLPD K9 Unit and Marine Unit training with US Customs and Border Protection and the United States Coast Guard! Two of our Special Operations Division elements, K-9 and Marine Patrol, came together with our federal partners of the Department of Homeland Security – United States Coast Guard and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to train Tactical Maritime K-9 deployments, Narcotics and Electronic Storage Detection scenarios.”

They continued, “Yesterday, all agencies worked together gaining valuable exposure and experience in maritime operations and deployments. Our four-legged officers learned it is so important to ensure they have exposure to a variety of different environments. We highly value the partnerships with our local, state, and federal agencies and always stand ready to assist and support the protection of our community and country with extreme professionalism, dedication, and integrity. ”
