Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs Law Enforcement Associates, I.U.P.A. Local #27 Member Deputy Latimer gave three lucky boys a ride home from school!
I.U.P.A. Local #27 shared Lewis County Sheriff’s Office’s post about it on social media, “More community caretaking. Nice job LCSO.” Lewis County Sheriff’s Office posted, “Yesterday was a special day for three Chehalis students who got an unforgettable ride home from school with Deputy Latimer! This was part of the Health and Hope Annual Fundraiser!”
They continued, “It was an honor to be part of such a memorable experience for these young individuals. This opportunity represents more than just a fun ride; it demonstrates the impact and significance of community engagement. By engaging with our youth in positive ways, we show them that law enforcement is united in their support, encouragement, and commitment to their success and well-being.”
They closed with, “Moments like these build trust and create lasting relationships between students and those who serve and protect them. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, and for continuing to invest in the future of our community!”
