Thanks to VB’s own Rib City! Once again everything was great. Thanks to everyone who came by for a rest and some good food.”
Coalition of Police, I.U.P.A. Local #911 Members helped serve up delicious, icy snow cones to local kids for back-to-school celebrations!
Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 shared about it on social media, “Today, Constable Mark Herman and Commissioner Tom Ramsey handed out free snow cones to hundreds of local kids — a fun and refreshing way to celebrate the upcoming school year! A big thank-you to everyone who helped make this event such a great success! From all of us at Constable Mark Herman’s Office, we wish every student, teacher, and school staff member a safe, successful, and productive school year!”
Salt Lake Valley Law Enforcement Assn., I.U.P.A. Local #77 Members and members of the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team came together at the annual Summer BBQ to recognize the efforts and dedication of the volunteers.

From searching for missing people to rescuing injured hikers and responding to emergencies in the mountains, these volunteers are always ready to answer the call. Thank you to every member of our Search and Rescue team for your commitment, service, and countless volunteer hours! We are grateful for everything you do to help keep our community safe.”
