Prince William County Police Association, I.U.P.A. Local 5010 Member Officer Moaddab was honored by the Prince William County Police Department!
Prince William County Police Department shared about it on social media, “Officer of the Month: Officer Moaddab responded quickly to locate a driver who had suffered a medical emergency on the roadway and stopped breathing. After finding the vehicle, the officer removed the unconscious driver, placed them on the ground, and immediately began lifesaving CPR until Prince William Fire and Rescue arrived and took over care.”
They continued, “Thanks to the teamwork between community members, police, and Fire and Rescue, the citizen was transported for advanced medical treatment and ultimately made a full recovery. We later learned that the chances of surviving this type of medical emergency were less than 5%. It was truly a lifesaving effort, and we are grateful for our trained officers and their commitment to protecting our community. #PWCPD #FirstResponders #CPR #ArriveAlive”
The I.U.P.A. commends Officer Moaddab on his quick thinking and heroism. If you have a member who we should recognize, let us know by contacting us at alinaj@iupa.org.
