Fort Myers Police Officers Association, I.U.P.A. Local #6065 Members and K9 Scout participated in a Pet Blessing event.
Many people like to do pet blessings in the month of October and K9 Scout and his handler were happy to be included! Those blessed included many dogs, big and small; and even a horse.
Fort Myers Police Department shared about it on social media, “Thank you to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School for inviting K9 Scout to be part of their annual Pet Blessing. Scout enjoyed spending time with students, families, and their four-legged friends during this special tradition. She may have even made a new friend along the way — a horse who was there for the blessing!”
Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
Submit your photos today to be considered for the photo of the week next week to alinaj@iupa.org.
