Volusia County Deputies Association, I.U.P.A. Local #6035 Members had a blast with kids at Summer Camp this year!
Volusia County Sheriff’s Office posted about on social media twice:
- A fun morning at ABC Daycare and Preschool in Deltona! Sheriff Chitwood had the pleasure of reading “Caps for Sale: A Tale of a Peddler, Some Monkeys and Their Monkey Business” to 40 kids in the daycare and summer camp program. The kiddos got some VSO swag and an up-close look inside a patrol car. Thank you for having us, ABC Daycare!
- This week, District 6 had a blast being part of the City of DeBary summer camp! The activities included: an up-close look at AirOne (a lot of great questions!), a demo with K9 Olex and his handler, a chance to climb inside the SWAT bearcat, and a demo with our bomb team and a tour of the VSO District 6 office. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your summer program!
