Have you wanted to have a logo for your local and thought that hiring a graphic designer was too much work, too much tech to learn about, and too much money? Well, you should be excited that the I.U.P.A. has taken the cost and the guesswork out of it for our locals who want and request one!
We know how important it is to have a recognizable logo that communicates that you are:
- A law enforcement professional
- A proud local of the I.U.P.A.
- A union representing hardworking members
The I.U.P.A. has a standard logo that can be personalized for locals that do not have one.
Here are the steps to getting your own logo:
- Have your local president contact the I.U.P.A.’s logo graphic designer Aylee McEldowney at aylee@iupa.org to request a logo
- Be sure to include the colors you prefer that Mrs. McEldowney use and the name of your local
- You may use two colors (one light and one dark for contrast) on your brand-new logo for your local
The I.U.P.A. also has staff available for membership questions and to complete research for wages and benefits surveys, conduct elections and surveys through SurveyMonkey, create websites and Facebook pages, send information requests, assist with press releases, and provide legal expertise upon request by local presidents.
