Ms. Abby Moeller, daughter of Milwaukee Police Association, I.U.P.A. Local #21 Vice President Joel A. Moeller, wrote a song about her father, her “Hero in Blue”.
Ms. Moeller is a 23-year-old senior at Concordia University, majoring in music. Her father shared that she has always enjoyed music and musicals. She wrote this song in 2020, when she saw the negative attitudes towards police unfolding around the country. Abby wanted to express how she felt about law enforcement officers, so she wrote this song in her father’s honor.
Ms. Moeller has written many other songs as well. She plays with her band, The Abby Moeller Band, in local Milwaukee bars. She aspires to be a choir teacher for grade school as well as a musician. You can find her on multiple platforms that stream music. Click here to learn more.
Milwaukee Police Association, I.U.P.A. Local #21 Vice President Joel A. Moeller, who inspired this lovely piece of music, will have served for 25 years this coming February at the Milwaukee Police Department.
The I.U.P.A. is honored to share this wonderful song on behalf of our Member and proud father of the artist.
