Salt Lake Valley Law Enforcement Assn., I.U.P.A. Local #77 Members participated in the Traction Law Sticker Event to keep everyone safe on the road!
Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office shared about it on social media, “Thank you, Salt Lake County, for showing up! We loved seeing our community at today’s Traction Law Sticker Event. Here’s how the day went:
- 26 community members assisted
- 17 vehicles met all requirements and received traction law stickers
- 9 vehicles were unable to qualify due to low tire tread.”
They continued, “While not everyone was able to receive a sticker, our team was grateful for the opportunity to educate drivers on the importance of proper tire tread and winter readiness because safe tires save lives on snowy roads. If you’d like to learn more about traction law requirements or check whether your vehicle qualifies, visit UDOT’s official program page: https://cottonwoodcanyons.udot.utah.gov/sticker-program/ Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make winter travel safer for all!”
