Shreveport Police Union, I.U.P.A. Local #275 Members were treated to a fish fry by a local business owner as a thank you for their service and sacrifice.
Shreveport Police Department shared about it on social media, “The Shreveport Police Department would like to thank Ivan Smith Furniture and Mr. Ivan Smith for hosting today’s event and providing a fantastic meal for our law enforcement officers.”
They continued, “Mr. Smith has graciously hosted this annual drive-by fish fry in honor of law enforcement across our area for several years, and we are truly grateful for his continued support and generosity.”
They closed with, “We are proud to serve a community filled with citizens like Mr. Smith who stand behind their first responders. Thank you for all you do for our city!”
