I.U.P.A. Terre Haute, I.U.P.A. Local #133 Members were honored by the Terre Haute Police Department for their support for outreach initiatives!
I.U.P.A. Terre Haute, I.U.P.A. Local #133 Members helped create the THPD Community Outreach Program, help to operate it, and donate to fund its initiatives. I.U.P.A. Local #133 President Lance Sanders has even been awarded the Local Union of the Year Award by the Wabash Valley Chapter of the SIALF (Southern Indiana Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO) for their charity efforts in their community.
Terre Haute Police Department posted on social media, “The Terre Haute Police Department was proud to recognize and honor our community sponsors for their generous support of our Community Outreach initiatives.”
They continued, “Because of these partnerships, we are able to host and support events such as the THPD Block Party, 1st Responder Rally, Operation Save Christmas, THPD Halloween experience, and our ongoing partnerships with the Boys & Girls Club and many other local organizations. These events welcome several thousand attendees each year and continue to strengthen the connection between our department and the community we serve.”
They continued, “We continue to set the standard for community outreach, and it simply would not be possible without sponsors like these and a community that believes in working together.” They then thanked the following list:
