Lawton Police Officers Assn., I.U.P.A. Local #24 Members participated in the Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics!
Lawton Police Department posted about it on social media, “A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the plunge this past Saturday and an even bigger thank you to the incredible Lawton Ft. Sill community for your generous donations.”
They continued, “As you can see, our officers had an amazing time! The air temperature may have been in the 80s, but that water told a completely different story. To our brave plungers, we say THANK YOU. To everyone who donated, we say THANK YOU. Thank you for being part of something bigger than all of us.”
They continued, “The Lawton Police Department loves community events, and we’re so grateful that you do too. Every dollar raised on Saturday goes directly to Special Olympics and the incredible athletes they serve.”
