The I.U.P.A. celebrated our yearly Day on the Hill on March 24th.
Members from across this nation gathered in Washington, D.C. for meetings with their Congressional Representatives and Senators to discuss our most important legislative issues, answering questions and addressing their concerns. This year they concentrated on Qualified Immunity, LEOSA issues, and federalizing assaults on officers.
We also met with the White House and enjoyed a group discussion with the Heritage Foundation.
Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
