Clermont Police Department posted about the 22nd Annual MADD Symposium, “The 22nd Annual MADD Florida Law Enforcement Recognition and Training Symposium was held in Fort Lauderdale, July 29 through the 30th. The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these crimes, and prevent underage drinking. The event recognized sworn officers, non-sworn, and volunteers from throughout the state of Florida. The training included topics on the identification and investigation of impairment (DUI/BUI, etc.)”
