At the I.U.P.A. 22nd Convention in Key West, Florida, President Cabral recognized Bridget Martin with the Distinguished Associate Award on behalf of the Bank of Labor.
On this occasion, Bridget Martin stated, “It is an honor for me to accept the prestigious Police Associations’ Distinguished Associate Award on behalf of the Bank of Labor and our remarkable team. International Union of Police Associations and Bank of Labor have worked diligently to better the lives and opportunities of union members. We look forward to the years ahead to add value to union members.”
President Cabral presented Ms. Martin with a resolution that opened with a discussion of the mutually beneficial relationship between Bank of Labor and the I.U.P.A. that has spanned for over a decade. He stated, “Whereas: the Bank of Labor, specifically Mr. Tyrone Herbert and Mr. Trent Chastain, assisted and directed the I.U.P.A. in receiving funds to pay our employees throughout the heart of the pandemic.”
President Cabral continued, “Whereas; the Bank of Labor, in large part due to the efforts of Bridget Martin, was willing to work with the I.U.P.A. to secure our first association-owned Headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, and Whereas, the Bank of Labor has been a longtime and faithful supporter of this union and its members, Be it resolved: that the International Union of Police Associations acknowledges and appreciates the support and guidance of the Bank of Labor. We will always recommend them to other labor organizations needing guidance and assistance in banking matters and will continue our relationship far into the future.”
