Photos of the Week: Police Week 2023

This week’s photos of the week come from Washington, D.C. at Police Week. I.U.P.A. Locals Virginia Beach P.B.A., #34; Prince William County Police Association, #5010; and Prince William Professional Fire Marshalls , #5015; along with officers and family members from across the nation attended and paid their respects to those whose names were engraved on the wall of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial this year as well as the many years past.

Also pictured are family members of fallen officers from Local #5010, including Paige Yung, Officer Chris Yung’s daughter; Sharon Guindon, Officer Ashley Guindon’s mother; Debra Bshara, Officer Ashley Guindon’s aunt; and Richard Pennington, Mike Pennington’s brother. The photos below are of a wreath laying ceremony for Local #5010’s fallen officers with their families, the Candlelight Vigil, and a tour of the White House given in honor of Police Week.
