I.U.P.A. Local Virginia Beach P.B.A., #34 laid wreaths to honor and remember two fallen heroes, Police Officer Rodney Pocceschi and Police Officer Charles E. Porteus, at their memorials in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Virginia Beach P.B.A., #34 posted, “Yesterday to honor and remember VB Police Officer Charles E. Porteus, PBA Local#34 placed a wreath at the foot of the VB police memorial on our boardwalk. EOW 16 June 1952.” They also posted, “To honor and remember the sacrifice of Officer Rodney Pocceschi, PBA34 placed a wreath at the VB Law Enforcement Memorial. EOW 23 June 2003.”
