Photos of the Week: Yonkers First Responders Visit Kindergarten Class

I.U.P.A. Local Yonkers Police Benevolent Assn, #16 members along with some Yonkers firefighters visited kindergarteners who were so excited that they wrote letters for the officers and firefighters to thank them for their service.

Yonkers Police Department posted the below photos in their post on social media, “Last week, YPD Officers from the 3rd Precinct along with some members of the Yonkers Fire Department spent some time with the kindergarten class at Ella Fitzgerald School!”

The post continued, “These awesome kids wrote letters thanking the officers and firefighters for their service! The kids had plenty of questions for our officers- thankfully our Q&A session went better than when Arnold Schwarzenegger tried it with his kindergarten class!”

Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
