Photos of the Week: Police Officer of the Year

I.U.P.A. Local South Daytona Police Officers Association, #6059 Member Police Officer Bryan Grondin was named 2023 Police Officer of the Year by his department, city, and community. He also recently was named Police Officer of the Year in his region!

South Daytona Police Department shared the below photos on social media, “This morning Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce honored the Police Officer and Fire Fighter of the Year for South Daytona, Port Orange, Daytona Beach Shores, and Ponce Inlet at the Annual Hero’s Award Ceremony. Congratulations to our Police Officer, Bryan Grondin and our Firefighter of the Year, Scott Ryan!”

I.U.P.A. Local South Daytona Police Officers Association, #6059 President Brian Rizzo presented Police Officer Bryan Grondin with a letter from I.U.P.A. President Sam A. Cabral congratulating him on this auspicious achievement. The letter stated, “It is a testament to your service and dedication that you were chosen from among so many officers for this award and distinction. On behalf of the whole of the I.U.P.A., you have our thanks and commendation for your exemplary service.”
