Photos of the Week: Police Week

I.U.P.A. Local Prince William County Police Association, #5010 Members along with their department participate in Police Week every year. This year, they began by attending Blue Mass in Washington, D.C. They then laid wreaths at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial for fallen Prince William County Police Department officers with their families.

Prince William County Police Department posted the below photos on social media, “#PWCPD members joined family members today in Washington, D.C. to present wreaths in memory of our fallen officers at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.  Much appreciation to the Prince William County Police Association and Honor Guard Unit. #AlwaysRemembered #PoliceWeek2024.”

Police Week continues through May 16 and information about key events is located here.

Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
