Indian River County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media about the memorial ceremony, “Never forget September 11th, 2001. Today we hosted the September 11th Memorial Ceremony at the Indian River County Fairgrounds. This ceremony was in honor of all of those who lost their lives during that attack. We were honored to have speakers present who were there at the twin towers on that fateful day. We are extremely grateful for the brave men and women who did everything they could to help save their fellow Americans.”
The post continued, “This day is extremely important to remember and we encourage all citizens of Indian River County to take a moment of silence for those whose lives were lost or forever altered on that day. Never forget.”
Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
