Shreveport Police Union, I.U.P.A. Local #275 sponsored a kickball team that participated in the third annual “Kick Against Domestic Violence” kickball tournament. The kids sported shirts donated to them by Shreveport Police Union, I.U.P.A. Local #275 and Shreveport Police Union, I.U.P.A. Local #275 President Chris Bordelon was cheering them on with other local members.
Shreveport Police Department posted on social media, “Today, the Shreveport Police Department participated in the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s 3rd Annual ‘Kick Against Domestic Violence’ kickball tournament. Our officers enjoyed coaching a team of amazing kids from the Cedar Grove Friendship House. It was a day filled with fun, teamwork, and great memories.”
The post continued, “Chief Antoine White, Detective Maria Gardner, and Corporal Chris Bordelon were there to show their support. To all the kids who competed—you made us proud, and we look forward to seeing all the great things you’ll do in the future! #KickAgainstDV”
