Photos of the Week: Faith and Blue

Port St. Lucie Police Officers Association, I.U.P.A. Local #6015 Members participated in the Faith and Blue Initiative again this year!

Port Saint Lucie Police Department posted about it on social media, “As part of the nationwide Faith & Blue initiative, Officer Vincent DeAguila flipped the coin and Chaplain Nick Manzie refereed the Southfork High School at Port St. Lucie High School football game this past weekend.”

The department also posted, “The fifth annual Faith & Blue Weekend was held this past weekend at Central Baptist Church of Port St Lucie. Members of the congregation were able to meet with officers and explore the vehicles and equipment we use on a daily basis. National Faith & Blue Weekend facilitates safer and stronger communities by engaging law enforcement officers and local residents through the connections of faith-based organizations.”

Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
