I.U.P.A. Terre Haute, I.U.P.A. Local #133 Members welcomed local kindergarteners to the Terre Haute Police Department and taught them about police work, even working a case together to determine who made the mess in the lunch room!

Terre Haute Police Department posted about the event on social media, “Lost Creek Kindergarten Takes Over THPD! The kindergarten class from Lost Creek Elementary stopped by the Terre Haute Police Department today.”

They continued, “These tiny visitors were guided through the department by our Juvenile Division and got to meet our K9 Unit, hang out with some of our SWAT team members and see their equipment, and even help solve a serious case… the Mystery of the Messy Lunch Room. Thankfully, Detective Brewer from our Crime Lab was there to keep things under control. Big thanks to Lost Creek Elementary for bringing the energy today!”

Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
