Virginia Beach Police Supervisors Join the I.U.P.A.

Virginia Beach P.B.A., I.U.P.A. Local #34 recently posted on social media to share their excitement that the police supervisors in Virginia Beach have now joined the I.U.P.A. as Virginia Beach Organization of Police Supervisors, I.U.P.A. Local #36! Virginia Beach P.B.A., I.U.P.A. Local #34’s post read, “We are proud to welcome our brothers and sisters of the Virginia Beach Organization of Police Supervisors to our International Union of Police Associations family.”

On this, Virginia Beach P.B.A., I.U.P.A. Local #34 Executive Director Brian Luciano proudly stated, “We are proud to welcome our brothers and sisters of the Virginia Beach Organization of Police Supervisors (VBOPS) into the International Union of Police Associations. The Virginia Beach Police Benevolent Association has a long and successful history working with VBOPS to improve the lives of Virginia Beach’s law enforcement officers, and our citizens. We also maintain a long and successful association with the IUPA. Together, we are all stronger.”

On this, Virginia Beach Organization of Police Supervisors, I.U.P.A. Local #36 President Richard Cheatham stated, “The Virginia Beach Organization of Police Supervisors is excited to be part of I.U.P.A. and all their membership. Although we are a younger organization (10 years) we have the privilege to work alongside the PBA to strengthen relationships for all our members. We are looking forward to our future with I.U.P.A. and in building our organizations.”

I.U.P.A. President Sam A. Cabral was pleased to bring Virginia Beach Organization of Police Supervisors, I.U.P.A. Local #36 into the I.U.P.A., “The I.U.P.A. has a strong and long-standing relationship with the Virginia Beach P.B.A., I.U.P.A. Local #34 and we are pleased to now bring in Virginia Beach Organization of Police Supervisors, I.U.P.A. Local #36 as well. Together we are stronger.”
