The USPCA Region 10 K9 Trials took place in Hammond, Louisiana this year where the Hammond Police Association, I.U.P.A. Local #345 hosted them in their union hall free of charge. All of the officers who participated in the trials from Hammond Police Department are members of I.U.P.A. Local #345.
Hammond Police Department posted about the event, “This year, the USPCA Region 10 K9 Trials were hosted right here in Hammond by TPSO! It was an incredible event showcasing the skill and dedication of K9 teams from across the region.”
They continued, “A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Officer Vince Jones and his K9 partner for placing 4th in bite work!! Regional trials are always a great time, but they also highlight the hard work our officers put in to qualify. At the end of each hard-working day the officers are treated to hospitality with food, raffle items, and entertainment!!”
