I.U.P.A. Members were recognized by President Cabral and Secretary-Treasurer Crivello this March when they were presented with the Distinguished Service Award.
I.U.P.A. Regional Vice President Pierone accepted the plaque for the Distinguished Service Award on behalf of Troop G of the New York State Police. The plaque stated, “On September 30, 2023, a 9-year-old girl was kidnapped in Moreau Lake State Park. Troop G immediately set out to find her. Their investigative skills and ability to work with the community and other agencies resulted in her rescue as well as the arrest of her kidnapper, undoubtedly saving her life.”
I.U.P.A. Members Senior Investigator Matthew Britten, Investigator Nicole Zyzes, Investigator Ryan Carrow, and Troop G BCI Captain Christopher Gilroy all accepted certificates that were signed by both President Cabral and Secretary-Treasurer Crivello.
Each week, the I.U.P.A. Briefing Room features a photo that exemplifies the valuable part of the community that our Law Enforcement Officers all across the U.S. are and their positive impact as well as their dedication, service, and sacrifice.
