I.U.P.A. Local Port Orange Police Association, #6051 donated $500.00 for an Employee Appreciation Luncheon that the City of Port Orange held to recognize and appreciate city employees.

City of Port Orange Assistant City Manager Jonathan McKinney sent a letter of appreciation to I.U.P.A. Local Port Orange Police Association, #6051 President Jarrad Alevisatos, in which he stated, “The employees of the City of Port Orange and I would like to thank you for your generous donation of $500.00 for our Employee Appreciation Luncheon held on March 7, 2024. These donations afford us a way to provide raffles to the city employees.”

He continued, “This event recognizes the outstanding daily efforts of all our employees. In addition, it recognizes employees who have served the city faithfully in increments of five years, as well as recognizing our Firefighter and Police Officer of the year. We also take time to honor those who have retired from the city after a career serving our citizens. As you can see, we have numerous individuals to celebrate and thank on this occasion.”

He continued, “Your thoughtful donation made it possible for us to provide raffle prizes to over 10% of our employees, including those working night shifts and unable to attend the event. Your continual support provides an additional way of supplying our employees with the recognition and appreciation they so deeply deserve.”
