Negotiations Update: Osceola Corrections I.U.P.A. Local 6088
Osceola Corrections I.U.P.A. Local 6088 Members alongside their I.U.P.A. Representative Bob Walker negotiated an excellent contract! Osceola Corrections I.U.P.A. Local 6088 filed for an impasse for the unit in November. On December 18, Osceola County came back and offered to add an additional 2% to everyone’s base pay on top of the raises. The unit voted overwhelmingly to accept the offer 110-4! The contract has now been ratified. The I.U.P.A. Briefing Room covered previous negotiations in May 2024. Local #6015 Members participated in the National Police Bloodhound Association’s seminar and training to practice and perfect their tracking/trailing skills! Port Saint Lucie Police Department shared about it on social media, “This week, PSLPD’s Bloodhound Teams traveled to St. Augustine and participated in the National Police Bloodhound Association’s Florida Seminar.” The post continued, “This vital training gathered bloodhound teams from across the U.S. who collectively participated in extensive tracking/trailing problems.
